Kickstarter game Prodigy heeft nog drie dagen te gaan maar ze waren na dag drie al over hun pledgedoel heen. Franse developer, Hanakai Studio komt nu met een nieuw karakter, Siren.
Je kunt ze nog drie dagen backen op de Kickstarter pagina. Woensdag is er een live stream via Twitch waar ze om 8 pm CET een Q&A met het team houden waaronder oprichter en creative director Jean Bey. Siren, het nieuwe karakter maakt gebruik van haar magische krachten. Ze behoord tot de Company of Thorns. Jean Bey – Prodigy Creative Director:
Siren is a dark witch, the kind of character who could easily fall into the clichés of the genre, so we knew we had to create something unique.
I wanted a variation on the theme of the dark witch as it is known in the tale of Snow White – a Maleficent tailored for the Company of Thorns. The 2D concept was made by Keun Ju Kim (aka Rabbiteyes), who has been working on Prodigy since the beginning of the project. He is a marvel to work with, and has a sensitivity and a sense of delicacy in his art that I just love.
I’m very proud of the final result. The figurine of Siren is exactly what I wanted: a readable, inspiring character whose sole presence among a Company adds to the whole background. She’s a tiny piece of the puzzle that makes the whole universe of Prodigy.
