Speel jij al The Room op je iPhone of iPad? Het populaire puzzelspel is al meer dan 2 miljoen keer verkocht sinds vorig jaar september. Dit maakte Fireproof Studios Commercial Director Barry Meade bekend op het Game Horizon conference in Newcastle.
In januari zat de game op 1 miljoen verkopen, dit net nadat Apple het tot iPad Game of the Year award gekroond had. De game kun je voor iOS en Android krijgen.Meade tegen Joystiq:
“We did not want to do a better version of someone else’s game, or an update of a genre. We thought we’re not doing our jobs properly if we don’t add to what’s out there. As a game creator that’s your responsibility. If you’re not doing that, if you’re chasing what other people are doing, you don’t deserve success because you’re not showing respect to the audience.”
