Hoewel Endless Space van onze Aradia niet Pink Prize waardig was zijn er vele anderen die de game nog steeds met plezier spelen. Voor hen is er dan ook de gratis update “Rise of the Automatons”.
Iceberg Interactive en developer Amplitude Studios hebben hun eerste gratis update voor de game op Steam gezet. Amplitude CEO Mathieu Girard:
“We have to thank our community for their help in defining the add-on – GAMES2GETHER votes were used to determine half the improvements. We really appreciate our players’ devotion and ideas; they’ve given us ammo for many more updates and upgrades beyond this one. They’re numerous, argumentative, and occasionally challenging, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.”
De update bevat onder andere:
- Addition of the new Automatons custom faction (thanks to the community hero ‘Panzer‘)
- GUI changes such as a new Trade Route panel and Empire Management screen
- Upgraded and updated diplomacy and alliance options
- Improved hero management
- Improved AI
- Fixes, amendments and changes
Voor de volledige lijst kun je kijken op het Amplitude forum. LET OP: Vanwege het grote aantal veranderingen die met de update komen wordt spelers aangeraden eerst hun huidige game af te maken. Oude save games zullen na de update misschien niet meer goed werken.
