BioWare heeft bekend gemaakt dat de sountrack van Dragon Age: Origins van niemand minder komt dan de band 30 Seconds to Mars. De titel song komt van hun nieuwe album: This is War en maakt zijn wereld debuut in de game. Bij EA (BioWare is daar een onderdeel van) waren ze in ieder geval dolenthousiast:
“This exciting song debut exemplifies our continued commitment to working with great bands that move the needle to where music is going.”
Aldus Steve Schnur, de man achter de wereldwijde uitvoering van muziek en muziek martketing bij EA.Ook Jared Leto, leadzanger van de band, is er erg enthousiast over:
“We always like to push the envelope in the entertainment and media space and debuting our title track in a game of this caliber is a great way to communicate our music to fans around the world. We’ve come a long way from having to rely solely on radio to approach and engage music fans, and Dragon Age: Origins is the perfect game to do this with.”
Vandaag is de release van Dragon Age: Origins voor de Xbox 360 en de PC in Europa. De release voor de PlayStation 3 laat nog even op zich wachten en verschijnt wat later in november.
