Bethesda en Valve zijn twee grote namen in de game-industrie, het gerucht gaat nu dat deze twee binnenkort misschien samen gaan.In een artikel op Eurogamer is te lezen dat Zenimax, het bedrijf dat de eigenaar is van Bethesda, interesse heeft om Valve over te nemen. Eerder dit jaar verraste Zenimax al door id Software over te nemen, en Valve zou nu ook hoog op de lijst staan:
“However, it’s also worth watching closely what happens to Steam in the coming months. Unconfirmed industry scuttlebutt suggests that Zenimax – the parent company of Bethesda, which made headlines back in June when it acquired legendary PC studio id Software – is still on the acquisition trail, and has been making eyes at Half-Life creators Valve across the bar.”
