Blizzard Entertainment, Inc heeft op 17 februari de datum vrijgegeven voor de 2009 Blizzcon in het Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Op 21 en 22 augustus (vrijdag, zaterdag) zal Blizzcon weer van start gaan. Natuurlijk zullen Blizzard Entertainment® Warcraft®, StarCraft®, en Diablo® weer aanwezig zijn.In plaats van 3 hallen zullen er vanwege de grote interesse dit jaar, 4 hallen open zijn.

“We’ve been amazed by the incredible response to each of our previous BlizzCon events,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We’re pleased to be bringing the convention back to Anaheim this year, and we look forward to this new opportunity to meet Blizzard gamers from around the world.”
