De jaarlijkse BAFTA Videogame Awards komen er weer aan. Op 11 maart zullen sommige games weer in de prijzen gaan vallen. Ook benieuwd naar de genomineerden? Lees dan snel verder.Dit jaar is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare erg aanwezig onder de genomineerden. De populaire shooter is genomineerd in zeven categorieën, deze categorieën zijn:Action & Adventure, Artistic Achievement, Best Game, Gameplay, Story & Character en Use of Audio categories.Er zijn in totaal veertien categorieën elk met aparte expert juryleden. Game of the year word door het publiek gekozen. In 2008 waren er geen BAFTA awards, games die in 2008 uitkwamen zullen dit jaar worden beoordeeld dit komt omdat er in 2007 games werden beoordeeld die nog niet af waren, vandaar dat dit naar voren is geschoven. In 2007 waren BioShock, Wii Sports en Crackdown grote winnaars.Steven Spielberg is een mogelijke winnaar met Boom Blox in de Casual categorie.
